It was the semester after our senior internships in college, and there we sat on dingy couches in our university’s computer lab. I (Kabella) had just spent the summer questioning my entire media degree- haunted by the misalignment of a creative stuck in corporate editing. Gabe had just finished his time fighting to add a heart to otherwise soulless videography. Brought together by a bitter taste that ran to the depths of our hearts, we decided there had to be more to media than creative boxes and corporate formulas. Surely there’s still a space out there for artists to express themselves freely. This moment of frustration, of hopelessness, of wishing for a better future, is when Seraphire was born. 
If the world isn’t going to be forthcoming with a space for artists, then we will make space. Our desire is for our company to train artists of the next generation to reject the formulas and embrace their own story, help the people of our community find new ways to express themselves, and fund artists of all kinds to do what they do best: create. 
While our last goal there might take some more time, we’re starting with what we have right in front of us: you!
